We are pleased to announce that the kick-off meeting for the “Revisiting the Regional Cooperation Structure in the Wider Black Sea: Security Building Through NATO” project supported by the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme was successfully held at Kadir Has University on April 14–15, 2025. The event marked the formal initiation of the project, which aims to explore and propose innovative strategies for sustainable peace and security in the Wider Black Sea Region.
The project team, NATO Country Project Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Partner Country Project Director Stephanie Fenkart, Co-Director Prof. Dr. Ayça Ergun, and Co-Director Dr. Nazlı Kazanoğlu met for two days of intensive and collaborative discussions. The team reviewed the project’s key components, including planned activities, expected outcomes, and dissemination strategies.
To build on the momentum of the project’s launch, the first working online seminar will take place online on May 16, 2025, featuring distinguished speakers and leading experts in the field.
